Kofola's Christmas piglet gets a sequel
AI helped create the visuals; Jiřina Bohdalová provided the voice. Twenty-three years after its familiar Christmas commercial, Kofola is continuing the story: a spotted piglet with a heart-shaped mark around its eye joins the wild boar. The new ad uses artificial intelligence, while the story, ideas and voice remain in human hands, according to Kofola. It will air on Prima in Czechia and Markíza in Slovakia, with the piglet also appearing in short social videos. The brand is testing a new technology within a story people have associated with it for years. (Source: Médiář)
Anthropic describes how its own company is changing
As AI takes on more tasks, human judgement matters more. An internal study found that junior employees' share of new technical hires fell from 27% to 9%, even as the total number of technical hires continued to grow. Staff increasingly direct agents, review their output and build tools to supervise them. Independence and judgement carry more weight in recruitment. Writing work is changing too: after part of its work was automated, a product copy team moved towards prompt design and model evaluation. This is an internal study of one fast-growing AI company, not a picture of the entire labour market. (Source: Anthropic)
At 80, Saskia Burešová explores AI with her audience
In Blesk's series Don't Be Afraid of AI with Saskia, she tries practical tasks herself: reading small print, explaining an official letter and finding a recipe from leftovers in the fridge. The series also addresses risks such as voice cloning in scams. The project brought her onto social media for the first time; according to its press release, her following grew from five to more than 15,000 in two days. TV advertising on Nova to cost 12% more on average in 2027
Price growth is slowing — from 22% in 2025 and 16% this year — but advertisers still face a double-digit increase. Rival Media Club has announced an average 14% rise for next year. For media planning, the key point is that these are averages: the price of a particular campaign will depend on its commercial terms. (Source: Borovan.cz)
