What we brought back from Gamescom

In a post from Gamescom in Cologne, Pavel Cyprich returns to a simple observation: the people who grew up with games now have families of their own. The gaming audience cannot be reduced to teenagers at their computers.

We also accompanied the visit with an AI-made video. More important than the technology, though, is the question of how a brand enters gaming with a real understanding of its culture.

Community first, campaign second

Before designing a campaign, identify the players you want to reach. What do they play? Where do they meet? Which creators do they trust? And what can your brand genuinely offer them?

Gaming visuals alone cannot replace understanding. Working with people who know the space helps distinguish a natural partnership from a message that merely borrows someone else's vocabulary. That is the core of our point: gaming marketing needs a feel for the people it addresses.
